Dr. Rimpy Kaur Chowhan is an Assistant Professor at Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi. She completed her Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi (2021), supported by prestigious CSIR and ICMR fellowships. Her research spans protein structure & folding dynamics, peroxiredoxin biology, neurodegenerative disorders, SARS-CoV-2 cardiac amyloidosis, millet protein applications, and antimicrobial resistance. With 15+ peer-reviewed publications including papers in Nature's Scientific Reports, she has presented her work at international conferences across India, Austria, and the USA. She is a recipient of multiple international travel awards from DST-SERB and has qualified CSIR-NET (AIR 55) and GATE examinations. Dr. Chowhan is deeply involved in curriculum development under NEP 2020, coordinates the DBT STAR College Scheme, and mentors undergraduate ELITE project students in cutting-edge biomedical research.
